March 12, 2009, I was leaving France, with my Working Holiday Visa, for a country which might make dream more than one people in the world: Australia. I, Daniela, one of these dreamers, I had decided to create a blog, to share my experience with my family & friends. However, I spent most of my time, either in the Outback, having a weak signal or, rambling through various beautiful Australian areas.

I wanted to explain the reasons of my departure, as well as the elements related to my preparation, my budget and a few essential links. Australia is a country where life is pleasant, no matters if you travel through the small isolated towns of the Outback or in the cities. It is very easy to meet people from all horizons. Travelling through the ancestral territory of Australian Aborigines, it is discovering the coast and its cities, its national parks with amazing sights on canyons and other million-year-old rocks formations. It is getting hot under 40°C in the bush, in desert areas and sweating in humid tropical rainforests…
